I hated it, I loved it, I loathed it, but all in all I learned more in the last 9 months than I have learned in my entire life. I learned that, no you may not be able to go out every night, but that doesn’t matter. It’s the people you spend those nights with. I learned that maybe its not so bad to give people second chances. I learned that living in the same room with someone can give you one of the best friends in your entire life. I learne that my sorority sisters are going to be girls that are there for me for my whole life. I learned that giving back during spring break is a hell of a lot more rewarding than drinking my way through it. And most importantly, I learned who I am. I learned that I am shy sometimes, but I love spending time with my friends. I learned that I do like to have a drink or two once in a while, but it doesn’t dictate how much fun I’m having. I learned that boys aren’t worth my youth, but it is nice to have someone there. But most of all, I learned to be me. 100% of the time, and if that isn’t life changing, I don’t know what is.
